This is the life (I am so free I am blogging once every 3 days)

Urban Zakapa-- Sweety You

This is the kind of music I listen to as I sit by the window, enjoying the occasional breeze's embrace, with my dearies taking a restful nap by my feet.

No deadlines to meet, no schedule to rush for, no great expectations to fulfill.

Ahhh this is the life.

Fan-made mv

I found this on dbsknights.net...

C-O-O-L

JUMP! TVXQ!! from TCB master on Vimeo.

BGM: "Jump" by Simple Plan

Cassies rock. Half of the joy from loving dbsk is from watching what the Cassies do. (p.s. "Cassies" is a short form for "Cassiopeia"---the name dbsk fans are called.)

HOME

Leaving home, surviving, learning, coming home---2009 just flew past. It's almost like a dream.
I am thankful. Thankful for being able to live life this way, for friends who have turned into family, and for family who are like friends. I am thankful for meeting the people I have met, for strangers who have shown kindness, for people who care and help me in various ways big and small.
I am a lucky girl. And I am home:)
There will be more to learn, more to experience, more pages to be written. But for now, it's me, my dearies, good food and home:)

The heaviest snowfall in 40 years

Articles from channelnewsasia:
"Deep freeze brings more travel chaos to north China"
"Beijing digs out after two days of heavy snow"
"Snow paralyses Beijing as north China braces for cold"
"Freezing weather spreads in China"

Email from mum: "Beijing's weather is very bad, take care!"

It really isn't that bad over here, at least for us. We're safe and warm in our thermal wear and down jackets and snow boots, and everyone turned up for class on time (even our teacher was surprised aka impressed). Sure the walk to school in the early mornings is bitter-cold-tough and the walk back home is $!@# from the frosty winds, but nothing we can't endure and live to talk about. And how cool is that we got to experience one of the earliest snow in Beijing AND the heaviest snow in 40 years!!! :))

Right now there are workers shovelling up the hardened snow on the pavements outside my window, and I absolutely salute them for their hard work in such freezing weather, all for the good of the general public. I'll be looking forward to walking on non-slippery, non-bumpy floors tomorrow!

Happy New Year 2010!

Singapore Fireworks New Year 2010 Marina

I didnt manage to catch the fireworks this year, but watching the video now, all I can say is Singapore is a beautiful place and I love my home.
Even though many Singaporeans have many complaints about this country, I am still a true blue Singaporean at heart and proud of it too:)
