and so this is goodbye, beijing. You've been kinder to me than i expected, and i am grateful for the good i've seen and received. it's been one heck of a personal journey, and i can only say i hope to come out a more peaceful person than before.
i'm glad i came, afterall, despite all the misgivings i had at first. for all the bad and the good, for all the lessons learnt, for myself, im glad i came. and now that it's time to go, i can safely say beijing has claimed a little piece of my heart.
Goodbye, Beijing, and thank you for teaching me everything i've learnt, in and outside of textbooks. i wouldn't be the same without you and the 2 years here.
