Goodbye, my friend

How we wish we didn't have to say those words, but somehow, in the end, we still do.


So I count my blessings. I count my friends.
Not many can last through time and my eccentricities, but for those who do, I am thankful for the blessing, for you. And for those who don't, goodbye my friend, I can only wish you well.

Angels

I am not Christian, but I do believe in God.

and I think...

God put many boulders in my way, but He also gave me angels along the way.


So I would like to take this opportunity to thank the angels in my life. You may not know who you are, but thank you lots anyways. And here's a big hug to these people who have problems of their own (who doesn't) but take time out to listen to my woes. Just by being there, they make things better:)

To Shanghai and back with mum

i was walking home through the park again after coming back from the airport. and there were old men practising taiji, young men playing football, old aunties dancing, the most obedient dogs lying on the floor just waiting for their owners to be done, a toddler staring around in wonder, and i saw a big maroon flower i never saw before.

the sun was shining, the air was cool, and along the road people were cycling past with their dogs in their bicycle baskets in front.

i guess all that helps to alleviate the (slight)depression.

and now it's really time to hit the books again. for real.
sigh.
